Greg Lowry | Co-Managing Director

Greg has three decades of experience in telecommunications consulting, using diverse technologies to find effective solutions for various telecommunications projects. He has managed many complex, multi-million dollar projects for clients, addressing the needs of both executive and technical staff. In his spare time, Greg moonlights as an at-home barista extraordinaire and an open-water swimmer in the San Francisco Bay.

Michela Lowry | Co-Managing Director

Michela joined HWC Consultants in 2019 from the nonprofit and education fields. Before working with HWC, she served as a teacher, as well as a consultant and researcher for the Center for Justice Innovation, a national criminal justice reform nonprofit. In addition to serving as an E-Rate consultant, she manages HWC’s day-to-day operations and assists clients with special funding streams like the Emergency Connectivity Fund and the Cybersecurity Pilot Program.

Kristy Barbour | Administrative Assistant

Kristy joins HWC bringing with her over fifteen years of executive administrative experience. During this time, she worked for six years supporting school administrators at a non-profit in Michigan. When she is not at work, you can find Kristy enjoying her time as a seamstress designing clothing and handmade leather goods.

Rhine Ramirez | Senior Managing Consultant

Rhine has over thirteen years of IT consulting experience. He has provided network design, project management, and budgetary guidance for some of the Bay Area’s most respected educational institutions. Before joining HWC, Rhine was the Vice President of Information Technology for the largest early learning organization in the Bay Area, where he was responsible for building and implementing their E-Rate strategy. When he’s not at work, you can find Rhine spending time with his wife and kids on a walk or at a park.

Christina Bailey | Senior Consultant

Christina has over a decade of experience as an E-Rate consultant. She is a Certified E-Rate Management Professionals Association, Inc. (EMPA) member. Christina has worked with clients all over the US, ranging in size from small elementary schools to large school districts, individual town libraries, and state-wide library systems. Christina is a proud USAF veteran. When not assisting clients, Christina enjoys playing video games and card games with her family and friends, cooking, and relaxing with her family and pets.

Steph Selman | Client Success Manager

Steph joins HWC with over two decades in K-12 educational sales. Over the course of her career, she has collaborated with various companies to drive curriculum and edtech initiatives for school districts nationwide. Outside of work, Steph finds joy in exploring the beauty of Arizona with her husband and spending quality time with their two adorable pets, Sprocket and Ellie.
